Memory by Vinton. rEpic. Just As Much As Ever peaked at No. 24 on
the charts in 1968.Although his sentimental ballads were more similar in
style to singers of earlier decades, Vinton, born Stanley Robert Vinton
in 1935, was a big hit with young listeners in the 1960s. He scored five big
hits between 1962 and 1964: Roses Are Red, Blue on Blue, Blue
Velvet, There, I've Said It Again and Mr. Lonely. Unlike
many of his rivals, he more than survived the British invasion, with further
big hits like I Love How You Love Me (1968). Vinton hosted his own TV
musical variety show (1975-1978) and remains ever popular on the nightclub
circuit and "oldies" radio. Album cover is lightly toned, soiled, creased and
bowed. Light impressions from album. Lightly worn edges. Lightly rounded,
creased and worn corners. Record is lightly scratched. Otherwise in fine
condition.
