TIM HOLT
Tim Holt signs a document from RKO Radio Pictures, Inc. extending his contract for a year to film Stagecoach.
Carbon Typed Document Signed: "Tim Holt" in ink, 1p, 8½x11. Los Angeles, California, 1939 November 20. In letter form to Tim Holt, c/o Feldman-Blum Corporation, Beverly Hills, California. Exercising their right to extend his contract for one year. The year he signed this contract he would film Stagecoach. Actor Tim Holt (1918-1973), was the son of actor Jack Holt, who appeared with him in another of his memorable roles (as Bob Curtin) in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948). Tim, who had begun his career as a child actor, went on to star in his own series of "B" Westerns, in which he was the "fastest draw" in the movies (Holt could draw his revolver in five frames of film - slightly over one-sixth of a second). His other notable films include Stella Dallas (1937), Stagecoach (1939), Swiss Family Robinson (1940), My Darling Clementine (1946) and This Stuff'll Kill Ya! (1971). Holt was also seen on television in an episode of The Virginian (1969). Lightly creased. Staple hole at upper left corner. Fine condition.
