JAMES GANDOLFINI (1961-2013) has won three Emmy Awards (2000, 2001, 2003) and been nominated for Emmys in 1999 and 2004 for his role as mob boss Tony Soprano on the HBO series, The Sopranos, which debuted in 1999. MICHAEL IMPERIOLI (b. 1966), who played Christopher Moltisanti, won the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2004, and he was nominated for Emmys in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2006. Imperioli wrote several scripts for the series. STEVEN VAN ZANDT (b. 1950) was an early friend and pre-E Street bandmate of Bruce Springsteen. In the early seventies, he was a journeyman guitarist (working as a sideman for The Dovells) as well as a founding member of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and several of Bruce Springsteen's early bands. He portrayed Silvio Dante in the critically acclaimed and award-winning drama, The Sopranos. LORRAINE BRACCO (b.1954), an Emmy Award winner as Tony Soprano's psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Melfi, had previously earned an Oscar nomination (1990) as a mobster's wife in Goodfellas. On July 22, 2004, HBO announced that the popular mob drama would return in 2006 for its sixth and final season (2006-2007). Zandt's signature and writing at caption.
