On letterhead of Bisgeier, Breslauer & Company, Certified Public Accountants to Lynda Skorneck, MCA Artists, Ltd., Beverly Hills, California. Begins: "Gentlemen". In full: "This is in reply to your letter of March 24, 1961 concerning certain executed documents to which I am a party. I hereby request that you deliver these legal documents to my Business Managers, whose letterhead I am using. You may deliver these documents by messenger during business hours any week day. Very truly yours." In the year of this letter, Edwards directed the Academy Award-winning film, Breakfast at Tiffany's, for which he was nominated as Best Director by the Directors Guild of America. Screenwriter and director Blake Edwards (1922-2010), born William Blake McEdwards, is known for successful films such as The Days of Wine and Roses (1962), The Pink Panther films (from 1964), 10 (1979) and Victor/Victoria (1982), for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Several of his films have starred his wife, singer and actress Julie Andrews, to whom he has been married since 1969. On February 29, 2004, Edwards received an honorary Academy Award for his life's work. Slightly creased with folds.
