Document signed: "Brian Keith", 1p, 8½x11. Los Angeles, California, 1975 January 6. Directors Guild of American annual filing statement, used to calculate membership dues. Keith, who checks the box for Actor, reports his 1974 earnings as a director, and his estimated earnings for 1975, as "minimum" The son of actor Robert Keith, Brian Keith appeared with his dad in the Broadway debut of Mr. Roberts (1948). A decorated Marine pilot in World War II, Keith (1921-1997) played good guys and bad guys in Western and action films of the 1950s and more varied roles thereafter. He portrayed President Teddy Roosevelt in The Wind and the Lion (1975) and TR's predecessor, President McKinley, in The Rough Riders (1997). He was a very popular TV actor whose series highlights included Family Affair (1966-1971), The Brian Keith Show (1972-1974) and Hardcastle and McCormick (1983-1986). Ink notations (unknown hand) and date stamp. Staple holes in upper left repaired with clear tape. Light crease in lower left corner. Overall, fine condition.
