Document signed: "Gregory Morton" in blue ink. 1 page, 8½x11. List of expenses incurred by Morton and his wife between January 15th and 21st (no year), including hotel, meals, taxis etc. adding up to $145. Unknown signature in bottom margin. Longtime stage, television, and film actor, and noted novelist Gregory Morton (1911-1986) had an acting career lasting over thirty years, as well as a productive writing career after retiring from acting. A New York City native, Morton began his work on Broadway, appearing in ten shows including Macbeth (1941), A Flag is Born (1946) and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (1950). He moved to Los Angeles in the 1950s, and compiled an impressive amount of roles there on television shows such as Lights Out (1951), New York Confidential (1959), Perry Mason (1960) and Ben Casey (1965). His film credits include The Flight That Disappeared (1961), The Interns (1962), Bye Bye Birdie (1963), and The Mephisto Waltz (1971). His best known novel is "Family" (1980). Normal mailing folds.
